Hahn's Hibachi, located at 535 Irving St in San Francisco, is a cozy Korean barbecue gem that has garnered rave reviews for its authentic flavors and friendly service. Customers often find themselves delighting in the sizzling bibimbap and the savory spicy BBQ pork. Although some diners noted the heat level of the BBQ pork as mild, it still received high praise for its taste. The tofu soup is another standout, providing a comforting yet flavorful experience.
The ambiance may not be overly fancy, but the clean and inviting environment is perfect for a casual dining experience. A recurring theme in the reviews is the warmth of the service, particularly from the owner, who demonstrates an accommodating spirit. Diners appreciate the thoughtful touches like separate dishes for sharing, which enhances the communal aspect of Korean dining.
For those who prefer dining in, takeout orders are equally popular, celebrated for an extensive menu that leaves patrons eagerly exploring every option. From the refreshing meat mountain—loaded with tender, charred meat—to the crispy tempura shrimp, Hahn's Hibachi excels at delivering hearty portions that resonate long after the meal.

I originally planned to go to another Korean restaurant nearby but it was too popular so I gave up on the long wait list and decided to come here. Definitely no regret at all! The decoration is not as fancy but the food is quite authentic and delicious! The service was also great (the owner gave us separate small bowls and plates so we could share). We loved the sizzling bibimbap and tofu soup, spicy bbq pork is not spicy for us but we still enjoyed it, beef udon is also quite tasty!

We really enjoyed our meal and overall service. The owner was so sweet and the chefs in the back were slicing and dicing like crazy. Food was delicious! So thankful we found them on Google as a top restaurant to visit. It was walking distance from whare we were staying. The restaurant itself is nice and small, very clean and bathroom clean. Thanks again!

My daughter brought me here for a early birthday lunch. The service was very good. The lady was very kind and accommodating We had the sampler it has tempura shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and jalapenos. The shrimp were so light and crispy. The jalapenos were stuffed and crispy spicy perfectly seasoned. I had the meat mountain it comes with rice and a salad with this dressing that you want to put on everything The meat mountain I got spicy. It is so good. The perfect char on the meat the spicy smoky flavors . You get a lot of food. I brought some home. I highly recommend this place.

We searched 20 min for a parking spot during peak dinner rush. It was worth every minute! Our party of 5 ordered udon, kebabs, BBQ pork, & sizzling Bibimbap. All happy customers & rated it the #1 dinner of our 4 (so far) in San Francisco.

The food was AMAZING! Very traditional Korean food and the best tofu soup I've had in the city. I highly recommend the sizzling bi bimbop as it was came out just as stated, SIZZZLING! The spicy pork and beef were top notch, along with the customer service. They were fast, attentive, and very kind. I will be a regular here!

Super sweet local place with phenomenal prices and pretty good food. I ordered the rib combo and the beef spare rib was my favorites, but short rib and pork ribs weren’t bad. The ribs all come marinated in a thick sweet sauce that is really sticky but I overall liked it. Bean sprouts were marinated a little on the stronger side, but fresh and tasted good. Not my absolute favorite kbbq place, but it’s really up there.

This was my third time going there. I went back because the barbecue chicken is off the hook. My second time, I tried a combination plate, so I can try the barbecue chicken again, of course... and I tried the barbecue beef, (the beef wasn't a good as the chicken) and I had pot stickers, shrimp Tempura and a salad, which was really good also BTW. It's a small place over on Irving street. Parking is hard because you gotta find parking on the street.
